Adi Chitragupta Finance Limited (ACFL) is a Reserve Bank of India registered Non-Banking Financial Company – Micro Finance Institution (NBFC-MFI) headquartered in Patna, Bihar. On 24 April 2017, ACFL received its Certificate of Registration (CoR) from the Reserve Bank of India, Patna, becoming the *first NBFC-MFI from Bihar* to be licensed by the RBI for advancing financial inclusion.

Today, ACFL is a technology-driven, service oriented and customer first oriented financial inclusion institution offering Joint Liability Group (JLG), Micro Credit Business (MCB), and MSME Finance solutions, complemented by financial literacy and enterprise development initiatives. Through responsible finance and customer-centric services, ACFL empowers underserved individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses across Northern and Eastern India to build sustainable livelihoods, strengthen enterprises, and foster inclusive economic growth.

ACFL was founded under the visionary leadership of Dr. R. K. Sinha, noted philanthropist, Founder of the SIS Group, and former Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), together with Mr. Rituraj Sinha, Managing Director of SIS Limited, and Mr. Gyan Mohan, a veteran banker with over four decades of experience. Guided by strong governance, prudent risk management, and digital innovation, ACFL continues to advance India’s financial inclusion agenda while creating sustainable opportunities for individuals, entrepreneurs, and communities.
